Ingredients:  
1 c sugar
1 c shortening
add 2 well beaten eggs
1/2 c dark molasses
2 t baking soda
1 t. ginger
5 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well, chill one hour. Roll not to thin. Cut with span can. Bake in Medium oven. Do not over bake.

Icing:
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c water
1 tsp. vinegar
Boil to med, softball stage.
Pour over 2 well beaten egg whites, add 12 marshmallows cut up fine. Stir. Ice cookies. Let dry before storing. Freezes well.
