1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 2 cups warm water to hot water
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup Crisco shortening
1 egg, beaten
4 cups self-rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg; mix in sugar and Crisco. Add flour. Stir yeast and water; pour into other ingredients and mix well with a spoon. Butter a muffin tin with quite a bit of butter and fill 3/4 full with dough. Bake 400º
for 15 minutes or as brown as you like. Store the remaining dough in a covered tupperware bowl in refrigerator.
It will last about a week...
