1/3 C Shortening
1/3 C sugar
1 egg
2/3 C honey
1 tsp lemon flavor
Blend
2 3/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
Mix all together; Chill dough
Directions:

Bake at 375º
Roll dough 1/4", cut into shapes; Put 1" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet; 8-10 min or until golden on top.
Makes about 5 doz 2 1/2 cookies
