1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs (add one at a time)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Chill cookie dough for at least four hours, but preferably overnight before rolling out the dough. When the dough gets too soft, refrigerate it again. Put flour on counter and on rolling pin. Roll out cookies with rolling pin and cut into shapes. Bake at 375º for 8 min until golden.
