2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill dough in refrigerator until easy to work with. Roll on floured surface to 1/8" thick. Cut cookies into shapes and place on baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar at this time or decorate with icing once cooled. Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes. Cool

I feel in love with these cookies when my pre-school teacher made them. My parents got the recipe from her and named the recipe after me. Thirty-five years later, we still are enjoying these cookies.
