5 c water
1 1/2 c of grits
1 t salt
2 cans of sliced peaches
1/2 can of evaporated milk
3 T butter
1/2 to 1 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to a boil with butter and salt. Slowly stir grits into boiling water. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in peaches with juice (all or some, whatever you like). Pour in evaporated milk and then add sugar to taste. Cook about 5 minutes longer or until done. Taste to see if they are done.
