2 cup sugar
2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cup canned milk
1/2 cup butter
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Butter the top sides of a heavy saucepan as it melts down sugar crystals that may form. Put the sugars, corn syrup and canned milk in the pan and boil to the soft ball stage. Remove from heat and stir in the butter then stir in the vanilla. Pour into a greased baking dish and cool. Beat and knead until creamy. Knead in nuts. Roll in wax paper or pour into pans and mark it into squares.
