1 cup sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg - beaten
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 20 oz. can pineapple chunks - undrained
1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple - undrained
1 pkg. acini de pepe
2 11 oz. cans mandarin oranges
3 1/2 cups cool whip
3 cups marshmallows
Maraschino Cherries (garnish)

Directions:
In medium sauce pan, stir together: sugar, flour, salt. Drain pineapple, reserve juice to equal one cup. With a whisk, mix juice and egg together, then gradually add it to the sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a full boil. Add lemon juice. Cool mixture to room temperature.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly. Drain well.
In large bowl, combine pineapple mixture and pasta. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Then add pineapple, oranges, 2 c. cool whip, and marshmallows. Mix well, but gently. Cover and refrigerate.
Top with remaining cool whip and garnish with cherries.
