1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Mix together

Drop by tsp on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork. Can sprinkle nuts on top,. Bake at 350º about 10-12 minutes.
