1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
2 eggs
3/4 c. chocolate chip
3/4 c. chopped walnuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Blend in eggs, beat well, add pumpkin and dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Grease and flour bottom of loaf pan. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle with additional chopped nuts if desired. Bake at 350º for 65 - 75 minutes
