2 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup cold water
2 egg whites
1 cup nuts (if desired)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients to 250º . Pour some over stiffly beaten egg whites. Cook rest of syrup to 263º. Pour into egg mixture. Add vanilla. Beat until it starts to lose gloss; add nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let
