1 (18.25) box chocolate cake mix
1/2 gallon cookies-and-cream ice cream, softened
3 eggs
1-1/3 cups water
1/2 cup soft butter
1 (8 oz.) cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
1. Spread soft ice cream into two round 9x9 greased cake pans. Line with plastic wrap and place in freezer for 2 hours. Remove from pans, and return to freezer.
2. Place cake mix, eggs, water, and butter in a mixing bowl. Mix for two minutes.
3. Pour batter into 3 greased and floured cake pans.
4 Bake at 350º for 20-23 minutes. Let them cool and then remove them from pans.
5. Using a cake platter, place a cake in the middle. Then, place an ice cream layer on. Remove the wrap. Place another layer of cake and repeat the ice cream.
6. Place last cake on the top. Then, spread with cool whip over the top and sides.
7. Place back in freezer. Take it out to serve.
