2/3 c soft shortening
2/3 c soft butter
1-1/2 sugar
3-1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs beaten
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Mix ingredients at low speed until they are thoroughly blended. Continue mixing about 2 min or until dough clings together. Gather dough into a ball. Notice that dough is soft and workable. Cut dough into 4 equal parts. Now you are ready to make 4 different cookies from one dough.
