1 1/2 c, powdered sugar
1c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp almond flavor
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix supar and soften butter. Add egg and flavorings. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl. Than add dry ingredients to sugar, butter, egg and flavoring mixture. Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
Roll dough out on floured surface- cut with cookie cutters. Bake 375º for 7-8 min. Cool than frost..

You can Refrigerate the dough for several days before baking. Just need to let dough sit out so it is easier to roll.
