3/4 C. Shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg (3oz) jello, any flavor
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º F. Cream shortening, sugar and jello. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Roll dough into 3/4 inch balls. Place balls 3 inches apart on cookie sheets. Flatten each ball with bottom of glass glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 6-8 minutes. Do not overbake.
