1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2/3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups unpeeled, chopped apples
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder, then add to egg mixture. Stir until combined. Combine vanilla, apples and nuts with batter. Place in a square pan and dot with butter.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
