3 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 C. solid shortening (Crisco)
7 large stirring spoons water
1 large stirring spoon vinegar
1 egg (beaten)

Mix first four ingredient with a pastry blender. Add water, egg, and vinegar. Mix well and divide into three portions. Roll each into a circle for pie crust. This also makes a wonderful cobbler crust.

Measure the water and vinegar with a large serving spoon. It is slightly larger than a Tablespoon. This is a recipe that you have to make a couple of times to get it right so don't give up. It is the flakiest crust you will ever eat.
