1 3oz can of chow mein noodles
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
16 oz butterscotch morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Spread several sheets of wax paper on the counter or on cookie sheets.
1. Combine noodles & nuts in bowl.
2. Combine honey, sugar, butter, vanilla, salt in saucepan & bring to full boil on med heat.
3. Add morsels stir until smooth.
4. Pour over noodles & nuts and mix.
5. Drop by small spoonfuls onto wax paper.
Makes 32.

This is a Smith family treat. I don't make it very often and they don't last long when I do. I got the recipe from my mother-in-law, Gaye, very early in my marriage.
