1 c sugar
2 c butter, softened
1 egg
1 t vanilla
2 c plain flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream sugar and butter until smooth, add egg and continue to cream mixture. Add vanilla and then add dry ingredients until well blended. Drop by teaspoon full on to un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
