1 cup margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups raisins, 2 eggs, 1 tsp.lemon extract, 3 1/2 cups sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking soda.

Directions:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and flavoring. Sift flour, soda, salt, and cream of tartar together. Add to above mixture. Roll into balls and criss cross with fork. Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
