Always wash raisins.

Always wash behind the toilet!

Girls: Never put your hand on a fellow's knee!

Simple food tastes good and gives you more time with the people you are feeding. Just make sure you have plenty of it. Try boiled red or new potatoes, creamed corn or a can of tomato soup with fresh baked bread.

It doesn't matter whose kitchen it is, be sure to help clean up.

Keep candy corn in your purse.

Make a note of food preferences of your family and friends and serve them based on that. (Don't put bananas in Becky's lunch.)

Make little ones happy by involving them in a batch of cookie dough.

In season, include produce that you let the grandkids pick from your garden.

No frogs on the kitchen table: Keith once set a large frog on Grandma's kitchen table. The frog jumped over the pies. Grandma threw the pies out!

No dogs unattended in the kitchen: While visiting the Fredlund's, Mom put two beautiful apple pies on the kitchen table. We went out. 88 climbed up on the table and licked off the crust. The pies were thrown out..AGAIN!
