Part 1:
2 1/2 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar
1 cake yeast
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 t. butter
1/2 t. salt
1 egg
flour

Part 2:
3/4 lb. raisins
cinnamon
brown sugar
softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and when warm add yeast to 1/2 c. milk. Add rest of milk, and enough flour to make a sponge. Let rise. Add all ingredients in part one and enough flour to stiffen. Knead, let rise, then roll out without kneading on floured board. Spread dough with softened butter. sprinkle cinnamon, sugar and raisins on dough. Roll like jelly roll and cut 3/4 in. thick with scissors. Put into greased muffin pans in which you have 1 1/1 tsp. brown sugar and a little butter. Let rise and bake at 350º until golden brown.
