Ingredients:
Ingredients:
31/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
11/2 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 3 oz package Jell-O, any flavor*
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

* I like Cherry and Orange. Lemon and Lime are pretty too. Blue jello makes a greenish(ugly) color.
I add food color to deepen the color intensity with the egg and vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl, cream together margarine, sugar, and Jell-O. Add egg and vanilla to Jell-O mixture. Blend well. Add flour mixture. Mix by hand with wooden spoon or on lowest setting with hand mixer. (Over beating can cause tough cookies).
Divide dough into thirds.
Place one third into cookie press and press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400º for 8 -10 minutes
