1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. lard or shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. ground ginger
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream shortening with sugar, add eggs, molasses and ginger. Mix in flour and soda.
Form into balls, and roll in additional white sugar. Bake about 10 minutes.
