1 can (16 oz.) butter beans
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans
2 cans (16 oz.) baked beans (Bush’s
Vegetarian are good)
1 pound hamburger
1 pound bacon
1 large onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
2 T. Liquid Smoke (near hot sauces in
grocery store)
2 T. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 300°. In large casserole, place all beans, including their liquid. Brown the meat and bacon. Drain well and add to the casserole. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.

Bake uncovered for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

I have also made this recipe using both my crockpot and my countertop roaster pan, which you use the lids with. I simply drained the kidney beans and butter beans well. It worked out fine.
