Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
40 marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp green food coloring
6 cups cornflakes

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over medium heat on stove.
Add marshmallows and continue to heat until melted.
Add vanilla and green food coloring.
Pour hot mixture over the corn flakes and stir.
Once flakes are coated with the marshmallows begin forming into round wreaths.
Add small red hot candies at top of wreath for decorations if desired. Place on waxed paper until cooled. You will likely need to put butter on your fingers when forming the wreaths to keep them from sticking to your fingers. Do not make this in the microwave - the marshmallow mixture gets too hard and makes it impossible to form the wreaths. Believe me.... I've tried it - MESSY!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is always a favorite with the Montana clan. Always the first thing to go on the Christmas cookie plate. I think Susan was the first one to start this tradition - she always knew what would be the kids favorites! (of course these were our favorites too!).
