Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a recipe that Grandma has passed on to all of us. Mandatory treat at Christmas! She got the recipe from Myrtle Arneson in Fergus Falls hence the name. The Arnesons rented the upstairs of Grandma and Grandpa Erickson's house on South Mill Street. These cookies have found their way into care packages through the years -- they are AMAZING!! I remember getting some sent to me from Grandma when I was at Concordia College. Then there was the time I made them in college and had them chilling over night only to find all of the dough eaten when I checked them the following morning! So much for those nice Lutheran girls!
