1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 cup raisins boiled and drained
1 can fruit cocktail drained
1 1/2 cup nuts
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
4 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugars and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix as much as possible. Add raisins, fruit cocktail and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
