1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 pie shell, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 T butter, 3 egg whites, 2/3 cup sugar, 3 egg yolks,beaten, 1/4 tsp vanilla, 2 cups milk.

Combine powdered sugar and peanut butter with pastry blender until becomes coarse crumbs. Spread half in bottom of pie shell. Mix all remaining ingredients, except egg whites, in saucepan. Cook at medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. It takes a long time. Spoon into pie shell. Beat egg whites for meringue. When stff peaks form, spread over filling. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter mixture over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
