1 cup shortening, melted
1 cup white sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 T. milk
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick oats
1 cup cornflakes, crushed to 1/2 cup
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 350º. Grease baking sheet. Combine shortening, sugars, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at low speed until well blended. Add eggs & beat at medium speed until well blended. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture at low speed. Stir in oats, cornflakes, chocolate chips, nuts and coconut with spoon. Drop by 1/4 cup onto baking sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges, but still soft in center. Cool 3 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
