¾ c butter flavor Crisco stick
1 ¼ c firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 c milk
1 ½ t vanilla
3 c quick cook oats
1 c flour
½ t baking soda
½ t salt
¼ t cinnamon
1 c raisins
1 c coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 375° grease baking sheets
2.Combine Crisco stick, brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in large bowl until well blended
3.Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mixture just until well blended. Stir in raisins and nuts
4.Drop by rounded tablespoons 2” apart on greased cookie sheet.
5.Bake 1 sheet at a time for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet then remove to cooling rack.
Makes about 30 cookies
