3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
13/4 cup flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. In a large bowl cream brown sugar, sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla and egg. Blend flourr, cocoa, baking soda and salt into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 7-11 minutes or until set.
