I honestly don’t remember the first time I met nannie Joan, basically because she has been a part of our family since I was a baby! So I guess, I have ALWAYS known her! In fact, something I find very interesting, is that my grandmother used to babysit nannie Joan. Besides being an amazing cook for her family, she was the main cook at a Bible Conference in Danforth Maine, called “Living Water Bible Conference”, now celebrating its 40th year in Christian Camping. She, herself, has compiled a few cookbooks and also remains on the road supporting her husband, Dr. Wendell Calder in full time evangelism. Nannie Joan is another one of these ladies who seems to find more time in the day than most woman I know! She has been a woman of Faith & Compassion, and she has touched the lives of so many people around the world, including myself! To me, I am honored that she is a friend, but blessed that she is part of my family!
