3 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk
6 slices bread, broken up
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped (substitute 1 tbsp minced onion)
1 rounded tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Gravy
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup (can use chicken)
1 can milk

Directions:
Directions:
Let first 3 ingredients soak together. Mix together ground beef, onion, baking powder, salt & pepper. Mix meat mixture well by hand. Add egg mixture. Form into large balls and brown in hot oil. Place in casserole dish.

Mix together soup and milk. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes.

Great to double gravy! Serve with steamed red potatoes and peas. Also try these meatballs with Granny's sweet and sour sauce!
