1/2 cup butter, softened
4 ozs. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbl. sugar
dash salt
1 cup finely chopped pecans
confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, sugar, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans (dough will be crumbly). Shape tablespoonfuls into 2 inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll warm cookies in confectioners' sugar; cool on wire racks.
