2 c. brown sugar - packed
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until a candy thermometer reaches soft ball.
Remove from heat.
Beat egg white at high speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
Slowly pour hot syrup and vanilla in a thin stream over egg white, beating constantly at high speed, about 5 to 8 minutes until mixture holds its shape.
Drop mixture quickly by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased wax paper.
Top each candy with pecan half.
