1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar

2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. water

3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Make sure you have plenty of milk!

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Cream butter and sugars together until smooth and fluffy.

Add eggs, vanilla, and water and cream again.

Add flour, salt, and soda; mix just until dough is uniform.

Mix in chocolate chips by hand.

Portion dough into 2-Tbsp balls. Arrange on parchment-lined cookie sheets, flatten slightly, and bake for 10-15 minutes (actual time will vary by oven).

Eat cookies as soon as you can pick them up!
