2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups (7 oz.) cashews, finely crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Cream soft butter and sugars. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients gradually. Mix thoroughly. Stir in cashews. Drop on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
