Cake:
2 cups flour
1 2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup Hershey unsweetened cocoa (or other high-quality chocolate)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/3 cup water
1 1/2 cup Hellman real mayonnaise.....

Icing:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

Cake:
Combine all dry ingredients together, add water, mayonnaise and vanilla. Mix well, about 2 minutes on medium speed. Bake in 9x13 pan (greased/flour pan) at 350º for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes throughout the cake so that icing can soak in well.....

Icing: Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil on the stove, let boil 1 minute. Turn off the heat and continue to stir until cooled, but must be warm enough to pour onto warm cake. Once cake is covered with icing, place lid or tinfoil over cake so the icing will moisten the cake.
