1 T. margarine, melted
2 medium onions, sliced
1 lb. boneless round steak, cut in strips and fat trimmed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. beef bouillon
4 Hoagie buns, split
4 slices Provolone or Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix onions with margarine to coat. Combine bouillon and water till bouillon is dissolved. In slow cooker, layer 1/2 of onions, all of the beef and peppers. Top with rest of onions. Pour bouillon solution over mixture in cooker. Cover, cook on low for 6-8 hours. About 10 minutes before serving, place bun halves on cookie sheet. With slopped spoon, place beef mixture on bottom halves of buns. Top with cheese. Broil 2-3" from heat, until cheese is melted and top halves of buns are toasted. Enjoy!
