5 granny smith apples
1 c rolled oats
2/3 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c flour
4 T butter
2 t cinnamon
2-3 T water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Spray non-stick cooking spray in a 9inch square pan/
Peel, core, and chop apples.
Mix together in a small bowl rolled oats, flour, and cinnamon. Blend in butter to make a coarse meal. Sprinkle 1/2 of mixture over apples and toss.
Pour into 9inch pan and top with remaining oats mixture. Pour small amount of water into each corner of pan (totaling 2-3 T)
Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10minutes or until apples are tender.
Allow to cool slightly so that apples are thickened. Serve with light whipped topping and spoon into individual dishes
