1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar + more for tops
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream toghether sugars and butter. Add vanilla and stir in flour lightly until dough forms a 'play dough' consistency. Stir in almonds. Form dougn into 1 in. ballsand place on cookie sheet about 2 in. apart. Place about 1/4 c. sugar in bowl. Take a drinking glass and wet the bottom. Press the glass into the sugar, then press onto the cookie to flatten out. Bake cookies for 8-10 min or until crisp and browned on edges.
