1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks (use large eggs)
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Mix all together and press into a 7 x 11 pan. Top with meringue made with 2 egg whites, 4 T. sugar, and then lay about 1 cup of whole pecans on top. Bake 20 minutes in a 350º oven.
