3 large Vidalia onions
diced potatoes
1-2 cups Italian dressing
butter
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel onion and cut into rings. Add a few diced potatoes or some frozen hash browns. Pour over 1-2 cups Italian salad dressing and marinate for one hour. Heat grill until medium hot. Drain rings and potatoes, place on a square of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Dot with 2-3 T. of butter and seal edges. Place on grill for 1/2 hour or until onions are tender, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
