1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 T milk
1 t nutmeg
1 t vanilla
4 cups flour
3 T baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each additioin. Add milk, nutmeg and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together and slowly add to other mixture. Add enough additional flour (a good bit) to make a soft dough to roll out.
Chill dough a few hours before rolling out and cutting out with cookie cutters. Roll dough at least 1/4" thick, not too thin.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 - 15 minutes.
Decorate with different colors of decorator's icing.
