grape leaves

Directions:
Boil salt, vinegar and water. Wash jars and pack pickles in jars. Put dill in jar beside the pickles. Put a pinch of alum in the top of each jar, then more dill and two or three grape leaves. Then pour in the hot vinegar solution. The fresher the pickles, the better. Leave in warm area while jars "work".
Ready to eat in 2-3 weeks. If jars don't seal, place them in the refrigerator until you eat them.
