Slices of white bread
4-5 cups cooked turkey, diced
1 1/2 oz. slivered almonds
1 small can drained mushrooms
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 oz. pimiento
1/2 cup milk
4 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
8 slices American cheese
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Line the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan with slices of bread. Leave the crusts on. Mix together turkey, almonds and mushrooms and spoon over bread. Mix together the mayonnaise, green pepper, pimento, water chestnuts, eggs, milk, salt and pepper and pour over turkey mixture.
Cover with slices of cheese and pour the combined soups over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
