Dough:
1 cup milk, scalded
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg, beaten
3 1/2 cups flour

Filling:
1 lb. hamburger
1 lb. sausage
3 cups chopped cabbage
2 cups chopped onion
1 cup shredded carrots
2 T. water
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Dough -- combine milk, sugar, and shortening, cool. Add egg and beat, add yeast and then flour. Put in greased bowl and let rise until double. Work down and let rise again. Roll the dough in a large square and cut into 12 sections. Put in cooled meat filling and pinch the ends and sides together sealing completely. Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise until double. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot. For filling brown meat, stir in vegetables and saute for 10 minutes until tender. Drain and cool
