1 cup warm water
2 pkges yeast(3 T)
2 tsp sugar

7 cups water
1 cup sugar 2 T vinegar
1 cup lard
2 tsp salt
about 15 cups flour, more or less

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients, let rise. Add to water, sugar vinegar, lard and salt. Beat with electric mixer until frothy. Add 8 cups of flour and continue beating. Gradually add 2 cups at a time until you reach desired dough. Dough should be slightly sticky and come away from sides of bowl easily. Grease bowl, adding more flour if necessary and grease again until dough no longer sticks to your fingers. Cover and let rise in a warm place. Punch down when doubled in size, cover and let rise again, about 3/4 of an hour. Form into balls, let rise again and bake in 350º oven for about 20 - 25 minutes. Grease tops with butter when you remove from oven. Cool before bagging.

I use this dough for cheese buns if making a large batch. Also can be used for cinnamon buns. really good just as a plain bun too.
