1/2 c shortening
1/2 c boiling water
1/4 c sugar
1 egg unbeaten
1 package yeast
1/2 c warm water
3 c plain flour
1 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Pour boiling water over shortening. Add sugar, salt, and egg. Add yeast mixture. Add flour 1 cup at a time, working in well after each cup. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Roll out on floured board. Place on greased baking sheet and allow to rise until the rolls double in size. Bake at 400º until brown.
